Kuwait Towers are considered an urban monument that symbolizes Kuwait’s progressive and economic renaissance as well as a World cultural and touristic landmark.
Distinctively positioned on the Arabian Gulf Road in the heart of Kuwait City
Designed by Swedish Engineers Sune Lindström and Malene Björn and built by Energoprojekt, a contracting company from Belgrade, Yugoslavia; the Kuwait Towers was officially inaugurated in 1st March 1979.
Coated with 55,000 Chinese steel paints of eight colors, the Kuwait Towers spheres combine a tranquilized harmony between both blue sea waters and the rising sky.
Kuwait Towers are composed of 3 main parts: Main Tower, Middle Tower, Small Tower.
1st: The Main Tower
Standing on a height of 187m above sea level and home to Kuwait Towers’ signature restaurants, cafés and halls, this Tower consists of the Ground Floor, Main Sphere and the Viewing Sphere.
Royal Hall:
A first-class reception hall facilitated for Senior Officials and VIP guests as well as corporate meetings & seminar accommodations equipped with the latest training solutions.

Horizon Restaurant:
At 82m above sea level, experience a world class hospitality above the rising sky featuring international open buffet served daily and during the following hours:
- Breakfast: 8am – 11:30am
- Lunch: 12:30pm – 4:00pm
- Dinner: 7:30pm – 12:00am.
Le Café:
Enjoy a panoramic view of both Kuwait Downtown and Arabian Gulf in this 79m high A-La-Cart café, open daily from 8am till 11:30pm to serve both Oriental and International cuisines. Facilitating corporate meetings & training courses are always accommodated at this scenic view café.
Al Waha:
A cozy lounging spot overlooking the Arabian Gulf on a 79m above sea level for visitors to enjoy savory snacks and refreshing beverages in an ambient atmosphere.
Dasman Room:
This prestigious reception room is perfected for welcoming up to 50 guests during any formal events, offering a scenic view of the Arabian Gulf with an altitude of 79m above sea level.
The Second Sphere – The Viewing Sphere
Situated on 123m above sea level, experience a panoramic observation view of Kuwait City, its charming vicinities and the serene blue waters of the Arabian Gulf within a glass enclosed pavilion. Rotating 360° in 30 minutes, the Viewing Sphere’s revolving platform offers an empowering city view with or without telescopes, along with additional amenities to include a souvenir store and a quick snack cafeteria.
2nd: The Middle Tower
At 147 meters above sea level, this tower maintains water supply to Kuwait Towers with a capacity of one million gallons in its spherical reservoir.
3rd: The Small Tower
At a rising height of 113 meters above sea level, this long pointed electricity tower illuminates the entire Kuwait Towers and its surrounding grounds.
