Travelport (NYSE: TVPT), the leading Travel Commerce Platform, today announced it has appointed Global Holidays S.A.R.L as its new distributor in Lebanon.
From 1 June 2018, Global Holidays will distribute Travelport’s industry leading technology and services in Lebanon, including both the Galileo and Worldspan platforms, providing travel agencies in the country with access to extensive global travel content and cutting-edge technology. The new distributor’s operations will be headed up by Georges Moussa, Owner and Managing Director of Global Holidays. The current distributor, Gate 7 S.A.R.L, will remain active until 31 May 2018 to ensure a smooth transition and uninterrupted customer service.
Global Holidays, established in 1999, is a subsidiary of Dubai-based conglomerate Planet Group, which owns 11 companies specializing in trading and distributing travel and hospitality services. The company’s experienced salesforce already maintains relationships with more than 400 travel agents across Lebanon.
