Kuwait Towers are adorned with 55,000 enameled steel discs in eight gorgeous shades of blue to reflect a nice combination between the colors of the sky and the sea.
Till this day, Kuwait Towers are still considered the most important monument in Kuwait that symbolizes Kuwait’s progressive and economic renaissance as well as a World cultural and touristic landmark.
Designed by Swedish Engineers Sune Lindström and Malene Björn and built by Energoprojekt, a contracting company from Belgrade, Yugoslavia; the Kuwait Towers was officially inaugurated in 1st March 1979.
